The thread

One thread, from the firm's bets to this week

Most tools keep the plan in one place and the work in another. Threadiant runs them on one thread, so the direction set at the offsite and the work that moved this week are never two separate records.

Coarse to fine

The plan cascades, level by level

A company bet is the firm's big move for the horizon. It breaks into the outcomes that would prove it, the rocks each team owns, the targets a person carries, and finally the weekly goals someone actually sits down and works on.

Each level names the one above it, so nothing floats unattached. Open any weekly goal and you can trace it all the way up to the bet it serves.

Goals do not only arrive by someone typing them in. A commitment made in a one-to-one joins the thread already attached to the target it serves, which makes the meeting part of the cascade rather than a conversation running alongside it.

Fine to coarse

Progress rolls back up on its own

Because the levels are connected, a finished weekly goal moves its target, which moves its rock, which moves the bet. A bet's progress is assembled from the weekly check-ins, not from a status deck compiled the night before.

So "how is the plan going" has a live answer at any moment, and the board update is a screen you open, not a week of chasing people for slides.

That is the firm's own goals. But most of a services week is client work. Does it ride too?

The whole week

Client work rides the same thread

The thread carries the whole week, not just the firm's own goals. A rock for a key account rolls up exactly the way the case-study program does, so client delivery is on the plan, not off to the side.

That is also what lets Threadiant read the balance later: because every hour is already on the thread, the week can be split into strategic and run-the-business work without anyone filling in a timesheet.

the firm's own work and the client account, on one thread

Everything the firm does sits on one thread. So how many times does any of it get written down?

Written once

One goal, counted everywhere it matters

A weekly goal is not a status line that gets copied from place to place. It is one record, and every surface that needs it reads that same one. Write it down once and it arrives as a talking point in the one-to-one, moves the target and the bet above it, counts toward the strategic share of the week, and stands as dated evidence at review time.

Nobody re-enters the same work for a different audience. That is also why none of those surfaces can quietly disagree with each other: there is only one version of what happened.

Horizon plan progress, live.

Every bet and outcome for the horizon, moving as the weeks land, rolled up from the work itself rather than a status deck.

Individual contributors

A review that writes itself.

Their year is already on the record, so the performance review assembles from what they actually did instead of what anyone can recall in December.

Middle managers

What needs them, surfaced.

A target gone quiet, a plate that has read Full for a month, a win worth naming out loud. Each week's check-in tells them where to look.

See the thread carry the rest of the rhythm

The weekly check-in, the one-to-one pack, the work split, and review season all ride this same thread. The guided tour has them all running on a complete fictional firm.
